deep down

            Deep down

we have been learning how to write descriptive language
to bring story to our writing and to get the reader deep in
our writing.

as the Gray truck stared with the knowledge that we were going
fishing. as the gravel felt the same amount of pain that felt of
getting the smallest fish ‘come on the person who's fishing rod
loses grip of the fish has to jump in the water and grab it’ shouted
dad. ‘gulp really dad i said to myself’ because if i catch one with
sharp scales i will get my hand covered in slime and get a few cut’s.
as the car slowed down i knew we were close to the place were the
water is cold. not to long later until we stopped i grabbed my lucky
rod it has never let me down yet i grabbed my lunch and walked down
the hill to rocks. we parked the car on the rocks and put all of our stuff
in it. i grabbed out a sandwich with joy and took a large chomp
‘mm mm’ i said aloud then the fishing began as the water washed
and smashed ageist the rocks my line had brought a gift for me
‘please be a big please’ i cried with hope to find that it was a piper
fish (there not that large maybe 1.5 ft long so roughly the size of
my foot) ‘dang’it’ i shouted ‘that's OK’ dad said but when the
fishing was over we walked past a rock pool and the fish jumped
in ‘dive in dive in dive in’ dad shouted ‘eh do i have to’ i complained
‘of course’ dad replied then he doped all of his bags ‘huh’ after that
i raced to the car with great speed then i slammed the door shut.
as dad opened the door he was mad he was holding some togs
and told me to put them on. as i slapped on goggles i flipped
on the flippers and pulled out my gloves and crashed them on
then i trotted to the rock pool and dived in ‘the ocean in all its
glory’ i said in my head then bash i hit a reef then i grab the
piper fish with anger and swam to the surface. ‘cough cough
cough’ i slammed the fish on the rock with victory and
cheered in my head then i walked to the car and we started
to drive home over the brig. then all of a sudden rummm
putt putt ‘aaaahhhhhhhhh’ i screamed ‘were trapped’
‘oh no’ i pleaded
then dad grinned with a broken smile ‘who's
boring now’ dad said i was shaken with fear tha
t i sat in silence then dad started the truck again and this
time we were off for real this time.
